Who doesn’t love homemade meatballs?! They can serve as a great protein snack, or the star in the best spaghetti sauce and pasta. In the south, a favorite meal of many is to serve homemade meatballs over mashed potatoes. You can always grab a bag of Kroger sales ad frozen meatballs, but I like this recipe for those days that you want to shop your pantry and stay home. My scrumptious meatball recipe is also gluten free. WooHoo!

I performed a fun, food experiment in the video below to determine if the my old skillet meatballs recipe is faster and better than baked meatballs?! Watch the video to find out the winner of the homemade meatball contest!

Yay! I love simple!
These looks yummy, I like the use of liquid smoke!

Liquid Smoke is SO gooood! 😉 I had never heard of it until I had smokey tuna dip. Have you tried that recipe of mine? You could just put tuna in the top search bar and find it. So good!
I love an easy meal like this, especially if I can shp my pantry!
Great- and perfect timing. I just made meatballs yesterday on the stove top and was thinking that I really need to find a better oven option.

I hear ya! I’ve fought this “oven” idea because I couldn’t imagine them being good. I was so wrong!
These meats seem easy to make, which is something I always look for in a recipe. But, I think you really had me sold with the Italian seasoning. A meatball has to pack a little flavor, right?
Author
Yes! Lots of seasoning. NOBODY wants flavorless meat, right?!
That looks really good!

I’m so happy we have all the ingredients for this in our fridge/pantry! We love Costco but you’re right, there are days when you just gotta clean out your stuff (or, you know, lazy days lol). This looks great. Can’t wait to try them!
I love tasty and simple, the only way we do it in our house, pinned this for later to access your links to other great recipes, thank you!
Yummy! I have been trying to find recipes for healthier versions of the foods we love. This is a great way to have meatballs without all of the fillers.

I love meatballs and I usually cook them in the oven for the reason you said, you can set it and forget it! Nice to know that you think they’re also tastier. 😉
I’m excited to be able to make homemade meatballs in just 20 minutes. It takes that long to run to the grocery store to buy a bag of meatballs. Congrats, you’re featured this week at the #ThisIsHowWeRoll Link Party.
