Need a quick bread recipe that’s fast and easy with just a hint of pumpkin flavor for the holidaysI’ve got you covered, friend!  You know I love cooking and decorating for the Fall, don’t you?  I’d been making the basic version of this recipe for years that I called cinnamon sweet bread.  I knew it would be a great base to use for a new fall treat that I wanted to make for my family, for upcoming fall parties, and maybe even a few holiday gifts …..

Quick Bread
Pin for Later!!!

Most women I know shy away from baking cakes or breads because they think it’s too complicated.  I hear ya.  Some bread recipes can be intimidating but this quick bread recipe is not one of them!  It’s simple and easy and doesn’t use yeast at all.  You can even omit the tiny amount of pumpkin puree for a fabulous sweet loaf.  I dare you to try the recipe “as is” the first time and I think you’ll be a believer!

Here are the two pan choices I would use for this recipe:

Rachael Ray Oven Lovin’ Non-Stick Bakeware 9″ x 5″ Loaf Pan

Fall Bundt Pan!

Pumpkin Quick Bread

Not only is pure pumpkin in the can perfect for emergency preparedness storage, it’s a fabulous base for sweet, cinnamon pumpkin bread in honor of the wonderful fall season.  The weather has begun to cool and you’re dying to fill the kitchen with the splendid aroma of fall spices, aren’t you?  That’s exactly how I feel too.

I love pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie and pumpkin cookies but I have never tried to make pumpkin bread before! This dish looks perfect for Thanksgiving and since we are only a couple of days away I have enough time to test it out before the big day too.

I like eating pumpkin more than I like “scented” pumpkin things that are totally NOT pumpkin…I’ll have to try this, as I’ve been wanting some pumpkin bread lately!
