Batiste Dry Shampoo Is The Best Dry Shampoo & Why You Need It!

Batiste Dry Shampoo

In my humble hair stylist opinion, Batiste Dry Shampoo is the best thing that’s happened since hairspray – that’s huge, y’all.  Is it a thing to be obsessed with the best dry shampoo ever?  I’ve seen a lot of professional hair products in my 28 stylist years and it’s hard to impress me.  A non-professional beauty product that rocks my world?  Hasn’t happened, til now!

I’d been so disappointed in professional brands before I discovered Batiste Dry Shampoo, that I had been making my own DIY dry shampoo powder for a couple years (baking soda and cornstarch – when blond) (cocoa powder and cornstarch – when brunette).  Although smelling like chocolate cocoa without the calories was a plus, my homemade method was super messy & didn’t travel well.

What’s so great about Batiste Dry Shampoo?

I’m glad you asked, friend.  Here is why I love it more than any other I’ve tried so far, professional or drug store brand …..

1.  Volume Galore

With just a couple squirts to the roots, those with what I call, ‘baby hair’ (fine, super soft hair) can get volume like crazy and incredible texture.  For those of us with heavy hair, achieving volume when you need it in two seconds flat an amazing hack.  I don’t know anyone that doesn’t welcome a boost through the top sections of the hair after getting bed head.  Any of the choices will work, especially original fragrance or cherry fragrance.

2.  Shampoo with a spray

Whether you’re just in a rush or your scalp is too dry to shampoo daily, this dry shampoo is light enough to absorb the excess oily or greasy spots.  The light fragrances smell great and make you feel fresh and clean.  I suggest blush, a floral and flirty scent.  Oh yeah, you’ll love tropical too.

3.  Camouflages gray hair & brightens color

There are neutral colored Batiste Dry Shampoo choices that only deliver the fragrance and volume, but stop the press, there are also incredible ‘colored’ versions for those who need just a hint of color.  Have a bit of gray hair along the front hairline?  A couple squirts will give you just enough color to make those sparkles less noticeable.  Blond hair looking a little brassy?  A little spray of the light & blonde version will brighten you right up, mam.  The dark brown  or medium brown will deepen your color.

Bonus Tips:

When seeking gray coverage or to camouflage an area where color have grown out, hold the spray can of Batiste as close as three inches from head and spray ‘colored’ dry shampoo on the area needing color correction.  There will be more coverage of color – it’s amazing!

Sometimes you might be able to find Bastiste dry shampoo, but I order online where I know I can find great prices and with Amazon Prime, it’s at my house in two days with free shipping.  Yes, I love it that much.  Don’t scoff!  When you try it for yourself, you might be obsessed just like me!

I have tried a couple of dry shampoos before. One was just OK. They other I didn’t really like. This one sounds amazing – and to get volume plus color touch-up too. Wow! I’m going to try it. Thanks for sharing!
