There’s a reason to get excited, friends because I’m sharing a new Christmas movies 2018 list (with access to the secret vault of printables). This list includes the lineup from Hallmark, Freeform, and new movies in the theaters during this holiday season. Classic Christmas TV movies are something our family looks forward to every single year and I bet yours does too. Yep, the Christmas movies 2018 schedule has begun airing 24/7 on the tube and I have free printables for you to be able to keep up with them – all in one spot.
Christmas Movies 2018
Every year, I get a little confused about which movies come on when. I also am not sure what new theater movies are available too. This year, I decided to create a list of both AND what used to be called the ABC Family Channel AND the Christmas movies 2018 list for CBS as well. So, grab a warm beverage and your cozy socks to check out the best Christmas movies 2018 has to offer on Hallmark, Freeform and the big screen. Just know that I share conservative Mom reviews of family movies all the time, but since these are new, I have not watched any of these movies below.

I’ve noticed that many families look forward to gathering around the tube to get lost in sappy or traditional Christmas movies on TV every year. Some friends I talk to are downright obsessed with Christmas movie season and there are even cute tees about it this year. Other families view a trip to the movie theater on Christmas Day as a treasured holiday tradition. Either way, enjoy the countdown I’ve provided below so you can relax and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year to your little heart’s content!
Tips for Christmas Movies 2018
Because there are so many of these stories to keep up with this year, here are some ideas to keep up with them all so you don’t miss the heart-warming goodness:

- circle the ones you don’t want to miss
- set your DVR now to record movies you might miss
- set a reminder on your phone for movies you don’t want to miss
New Christmas movies 2018 on Hallmark Channel
I can’t tell you how excited I am that it’s time for Hallmark Christmas movies 2018! This year there are 36 new Christmas movie premieres between the two Hallmark Channels and they all start on October 27th. Notice that this list mixes Christmas movies 2018 that are showing on the Hallmark Channel and the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel.

***IMPORTANT: All movies on the Hallmark Channel will begin at 8 pm/7c and all moves on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel will begin at 9 pm/8c.
New Christmas movies 2018 on Freeform
Freeform, formally known as ABC Family will begin the annual “25 Days of Christmas” shows on December 1 and continue bringing Christmas joy through movies through December 25th. This year there will be many Christmas movies on repeat, including three new original movies: The Truth About Christmas, Life Size 2, and No Sleep ‘Til Christmas.
Holiday TV Specials On CBS
CBS is where you’ll find the wonderful classic Christmas movies from our childhood. Movies like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman will air this season along with a few new specials.

New movies in theaters this holiday season
Two new movies are coming out in the box office this holiday season that I’m pretty excited about. On November 9th, the 2018 version of The Grinch will be released. The rating will be PG and I’ll be sure to write my family movie guide as soon as possible.

I think Hallmark Christmas movies are my all time favourite viewing! I am in Australia, so we don’t always see them all, but I am crossing my fingers we see some of this list <3 I have saved to refer to later!!

Oh baby yes, bring on the XMAS movies – however, lets try and not skip over Thanksgiving so quickly – haha! We can certainly bounce over Halloween though. That holiday is stupid!

Wow, I can’t believe how many Hallmark Christmas movies there are! I am so excited to see Mary Poppins and The Nutcracker! I didn’t know there was a remake of The Grinch, that will be great too!
The Grinch movie looks so cute! I don’t have cable, so I don’t have a way to watch all of the Hallmark and Freeform movies. But, we have a lot of Christmas movies at home so will be having movie nights with my boys throughout the season!

This Christmas is going to be full of good movies. I love Hallmark movies even thou they are sometimes over the top of the romans, people forget to be emotional and just feel loved. I’m so much excited for Disney movies they have really stepped out in the last few years with the movies. Love your suggestions as well.
