I mean, who has time to primp all day?
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy breaking out the curling wand and cranking out some tighter curls now and then but whew, that can take a while. Most days us girls just need a way to smooth out the frizz with an easy hairstyle and get some lift.
Even stylists want shortcuts to beauty. Get it? short cuts. I know you are noticing a theme around here lately with me, whether it’s cooking, saving money, or even beauty tips….. If it’s not simple and quick—it’s probably not happening ’round here. If there’s a hack, I intend to find it.
Believe it or not, I’m breaking out the hot rollers for this hairstyle hack!
No, I didn’t go out and buy new ones but just pulled out the old dusty ones I’ve had for years that were hiding in the bathroom cabinet. I’ve been using them for a few months now and thought I’d show you how I’ve been getting these quick and easy curls lately that I’m lovin
My hair is naturally very straight with long layers. As long as your hair isn’t super short or with teeny-tiny layers, you can pull this look off too. I’m using the medium-ish sized rollers but if you have jumbo ones, those will give you lift only. You’ll notice in the video below that what makes this easy hairstyle hack so quick is that the top section of my hair is pulled back in a little clip and that makes it all easier to deal with. Don’t worry, one roller will catch all the hair that is pulled back.
You’ll only use about 5-6 rollers in total unless your hair is extremely thick. Don’t give up after trying this just once because you’ll figure out whether each section was too thick or thin or just right. The second time you try it, you’ll have a better idea of how much hair to put on each roller.
Either way, you get body and curls without having to work on it forever.
