Pie Crust: Fail Proof & Flaky!
  • 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Cup shortening
  • 1/2 Cup water
  1. Mix flour and salt in a large bowl. Cut in shortening with a fork or pastry blender until you have coarse crumbs. Add water a bit at a time and mix until a ball is formed. Divide in half and wrap each in plastic wrap for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Roll out dough on floured surface. Don't overwork or get too thin. Roll out the size of pie pan.
