Yes, I have a tenth grader now, as of yesterday.  Craziness.  Craziness, I tell ya.  It’s hard to believe that my girl is now escorting me all over the place by car …..

AND

She only has three more years left of high school.  I’m not sad and weepy though because it’s an exciting time.  Scary sometimes in the passenger seat, but fun and interesting just the same.

I’ve  learned by experience that the time we have with our children in the home flies by at hyper speed, and that I should capture special moments each day.

I’m very excited about the school year ahead, and I think she may be a wee bit excited too. We’re mixing it up with online classes, hands-on activities, field trips, Co-Op time with friends, fabulous literature, and courses that are of extreme interest to her.  It’s only been two full days completed but Wow, it’s going well.

If Look closely on the plaque on our front door, you’ll see our family motto ~ “As for me and my house, I will serve the Lord.”  ~Joshua 24:15  That pretty much covers it.

How has the beginning of the school year gone for you and your kids?
