Christmas presents help

You’ll be amazed at the savings AND the money that can be made by using some or all of the little tricks below.  Let’s get to saving money (and making money) on the rest of our Christmas shopping, shall we?!

1. Ebates

If you hear nothing else I say today, listen up here ->>>  My absolute favorite shopping money saver is Ebates!!!  You get the sale prices AND cash back! Yep, I use it every. single. time I shop online.  I starting using Ebates during the holiday season of 2015 and I’m so thankful for the big fat checks that have come since from the percentage of shopping that I was going to do anyway.  It’s legit and SO easy!  Let me explain:

After signing up HERE, just create an account.  Every time you want to make an online purchase, go to Ebates.com and type your store’s name into the search box.  Ebates will redirect you to that site that you were going to shop at anyway, AND you will get a percentage CASHBACK of every purchase into your Ebates account.  At the end of every month, you can “cash in” your savings even if it’s only $20.  I have a little extention button in my toolbar that I press every time I’m ready to shop.

Easy Peasy!

2.  Best Online Store

What’s not to love about Amazon Prime, or, just Amazon in general.  They sell everything.  They have the best prices.  Free shipping all year long on almost everything that they sell can be possible with Amazon Prime.  I’m slightly obsessed.

It’s no longer about books (although I do order a LOT of them every year).  Amazon shopping is amazing because you are getting great prices on just about anything you could imagine, getting free shipping AND you will have your item within one or two days!

Yeah, Amazon!

3.  PriceGrabber

A nifty little trick to find out the absolute best deal on the Christmas presents you seek is to enter the your item idea into the PriceGrabber search bar. A list of stores that sell that item online will be listed with the price of each.  You can also set a price alert to let you know when your item reaches the price point you want.

Pricegrabber comes in handy for me the most when I know I have an expensive gift to buy that I’m desperate to find the best deal on.

So convenient.

4.  Homemade

Last but not least, how about making a few things homemade for Christmas presents to not only save a few bucks but for these three other reasons:

  • the old fashioned notion that Christmas gifts should be more about the thought than the $ spent
  • to speak volumes to young people in your life that everything in this life can’t be bought
  • to spend fun times with your family creating these homemade creations.

Guess what?!?!

I also have some ideas for DIY Christmas Gifts to finish out your list.  It’s a great list of homemade Christmas presents that are both edible and non-edible like a fabulous pecan pie or 5-Minute Christmas fudge and beautiful ornaments.  Starting this week, I’ll be sharing my favorite deal of the week in my weekly email to subscribers.

There’s always one. more. gift.  that we forget to buy, right?  This year I’ve got a snazzy Christmas Presents Checklist to keep us organized!  We won’t forget what we’ve already bought Aunt Sally – and everyone else.  No duplicating gifts or forgetting anyone.  There’s even a place to mark whether you’ve wrapped it or not!

Pricegrabber is new to me. I’ll check it out. Thanks! I LOVE Ebates. It’s crazy how much you can get back! I recently shopping Kohl’s online through Ebates and wow. I won’t tell you how much I got back because then you’ll know how much I spent. Yikes! lol Christmas is definitely stressful financially and all of these tips truly help.
