Yesterday was a day we’ve been looking forward to for a long time. It was finally the first day of Thanksgiving break.  To Princess, this means a welcome break from British Literature and Geometry.

Thanksgiving-Break-Day-One

I had high hopes and although I got much accomplished, not everything on my crazy-town list got done {reading our library books, making homemade hot chocolate, making homemade whipped cream, and watching a Thanksgiving movie from my list}.

This vlog is documented partly for our own memories later, and partly for you curious friends that want more personal peeks…It was a wonderful day in our simple, perfectly imperfect, beautiful life.

Enjoy!

Of course, I have another very long wish list of fun, Thanksgiving break things to do tomorrow including helping a friend, staying in the kitchen, and {eppp!} picking up a free, bakery-style pecan pie.  Yes, I said free!  I get excited about a free turkey and a free pie because free is definitely for me.  I’m trying a new budgeting plan these days and paying zero dollars for expensive Thanksgiving Day food sure is a blessing and just one of the things I’m adding to my thankful list this week.

How about you?  I would love to know:

How did you spend Thanksgiving Break Day #1?
