GURU LIFE
Oh what fun we’ve had the last few days in this glorious fall weather. For years I’ve heard about the Ellijay Apple Festival and I was determined, by golly, we were going this year and guess what, we did.
Hallelu!
I’ll share more details in a family travel post soon but just know we were caught up with the rest of the crazies acting like we’d never seen an apple before. We busted into town just in time for the small town parade which was adorable with lots of candy and laughs.
Our fam and Captain’s two friends had a lovely time visiting Apple Barns, vendors in the downtown square and trying out fried apple dumplings with cinnamon ice cream.
Oh yeah, I did!
Before leaving North Georgia, we visited a church that Captain has been visiting and fallen in love with. It is actually a church plant from a larger church in a bigger town therefore we went to worship in a movie theater.
Yep, you read that right. We went to church at the movies.
Like I keep saying, you never know where our crazy family will end up…neither do we.
I must say that it was a very God-honoring Lord’s Day. Many truth nuggets were learned by all of us about how we can honor God in the area of physical intimacy – whether abstaining from it while single or fulfilling it the way God intended between a husband and wife.
Yep, there were awkward moments but each were wrapped in God’s Word and biblical in nature. Thank you Lord for your truth and love!
I leave you story in song called Every Praise….. Have a Blessed Week, my friend.
