Healthier You & Me
I can’t believe the Healthier Wife 10-day challenge is over but the pursuit of a healthier you and me! Don’t you quit on me now! My encouragement of wives will not stop for a sec, but this is the last day I’ll share my daily food and supplement regime. I’ll keep you posted with what my stay-healthy-plan is in your upcoming weekend newsletter though.

Below is a roundup of the types of foods I ate for the entire 10-day challenge (including days 9 & 10). I hope this gives you hope in how simple it can be. This way you can get a good idea of some healthy snack, lunch, and dinner ideas all from one place.
Before Breakfast
Every single day the 10-day challenge, I started with two probiotics and my Spark, Vitamin B drink (which I love warm in a huge mug).
Breakfast
Every day of the challenge, I drank a fiber drink, followed a cup of water. I would fix my chocolate mocha protein shake and stick in the fridge so that when I was ready for it, it would be like a milkshake. Mmm! Only one morning did I stray from the shake and have a Pure Protein bar for something different.
Mid-morning & mid-afternoon snacks
I always want to eat a fresh fruit and a small protein during this snack time. Here are some of the choices that I had:
- apple
- raspberries
- grapes
- unsweetened applesauce
- almonds
- peanuts
- cashews
- hard-boiled egg
- carrots and hummus
- sunflower seeds
- sunflower butter
Lunches & Dinners
I list lunch and dinner together because here’s a life-changing hack … every day for lunch, eat what you cooked for dinner last night. Profound this is not, but it’s been a lifesaver for us. Sooo, every one of these dinners served as a lunchtime meal for my family the day after.
- taco soup
- sliced turkey
- chicken breast
- grilled steak
- chicken salad
- steak stir fry
- baked sweet potato
- quinoa
- brown rice
- salad
- green beans
- carrots
Healthier You Results
I want to give you the results I’ve found just from ten days of intentional eating and supplementation …..
I feel incredible!
I feel leaner, lighter, more energetic, ready to exercise, and not addicted to carbs, sugar, and salt anymore. I’m writing this on the day after my challenge has ended and I’m so thankful that someone shared it with me.
I’ll be posting here and there about more recipes and exercise hacks here and there (and treats in moderation). Have questions about anything? Shoot me a message below and I’d be honored to help. Now go be intentional with your day today and be a healthier you!

Thanks for the snack ideas. I think these are harder for me than meals. Cheers!
It’s amazing what awe put in our bodies really do effect us!
It’s amazing how much more energetic you feel when your diet is cleaner— even in a short period of time. We do the leftovers for lunch thing, too! It’s just so much easier. My goal is usually to make enough for 3 meals, 1 being supper and the following lunch, and there is always one “clean the fridge” night. Eating dinner leftovers for lunch has been a game changer for me! Can’t wait to try some of these other tips too!
Looks like we are on a similar quest!
We have given up eating anything that comes out of a box and have made everything from scratch.
Lots of fruit, veggie and protein
Love that you are encouraging wives and helping them honor their temple. Looks like we have the same passion to share. A reset is sometimes needed in life thank you for sharing your 10 day journey.
I had a 21-Day healthy Challenge a few months ago and really loved it. I feel really good and I am still keeping up with a healthy diet and good exercise. I lost a good amount of weight due to the change of lifestyle. I plan to do another challenge for the new year. I like that you do a 10-day challenge. Will try it. That seems doable to accomplish once a month or once every quarter. Thank you!
