I bet ya that this is the best tuna dipthat doesn’t taste like tunathat you’ve ever put in your mouth.  Also, I bet ya can’t eat just one cracker topped with it.  I double-dog-dare ya to take this to your next gathering and see it disappear at lightning speed!  Be ready though, because they’re gonna want to know the secret of why it’s so addicting.  You see, there is a secret to my tuna dip (or smokey dip as we call it) and I’m spilling the beans!

Tuna Dip

What’s funny is that this tuna dip was such a part of our lives that one day Superman decided to see how it tasted smothered over a slice of bread.  He loved it.  I was thankful because it became a wholesome lunch I could feed my guys at home or on the road.  Full of protein and very filling – it hits the spot.  It’s a perfect addition to our 31 days of delicious easy recipes for busy wives series.

Let’s get on with the goodness, shall we?!

{Smokey} Tuna Dip

The ingredients and instructions for a printable recipe card are below but here’s the basic idea ->>>

Easy Peasy:  Add 2 cans of Tuna (in water), a block of softened cream cheese, 2 spoons of mayo, 2 dashes of salt, pepper, and garlic powder to a bowl and combine well.  Add a Tablespoon of the secret ingredient – here it is …..

After adding liquid smoke, make sure it’s incorporated well.  Serve chilled.  Serve with crackers or spread on two pieces of bread.  Enjoy!

Here’s your printable Tuna Dip recipe card:

Smokey Tuna Dip – YUM Dip! (31 Days of Delicious Easy Recipes)
Ingredients
  • 2 Cans Tuna (in water)
  • 1 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 dashes of salt
  • 2 dashes of pepper
  • 2 dashes of garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Liquid Smoke
  • Optional: one or two chopped, boiled eggs.
Instructions
  1. Add 2 cans of Tuna in water, a block of softened cream cheese, 2 spoons of mayo, 2 dashes of salt, pepper, and garlic powder to a bowl and combine well.
  2. Add a Tablespoon of liquid smoke (or liquid aminos)
  3. After adding liquid smoke, make sure it’s incorporated well.
  4. Serve chilled.
  5. Optional: add one or two chopped, boiled eggs
  6. Serve with crackers or spread on two pieces of bread.
  7. Enjoy!

Important:  You can add a boiled egg or two in order to make it stretch further.  If it seems too dry after egg addition, just add a little more mayo!  If you do not have Colgin Liquid Smoke, 16.0 Ounce, my second choice is Liquid Aminos .  You won’t get quite the smokiness but it is still good.  When I’ve been out of liquid smoke and liquid aminos, I have used this Worcestershire Sauce  in a pinch and it is good too.

When will you be making some of my smokey tuna dip?
